Driver Education Classes - $475
Students are required to complete 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of Behind-The-Wheel (BTW) training before they are eligible to take the final driving test, provided they have held their learner’s permit for at least six months.
The 24-hour classroom portion must be completed online through one of the third-party providers listed below (cost: $74.99) or through any other approved online driving school
of their choice.
Once the classroom requirement has been completed, students may schedule the 8-hour Behind-The-Wheel (BTW) training with us at a cost of $475. Please note that the full 24 hours of classroom instruction must be completed before scheduling the driving portion.

When a student completes the 24hrs of the course above, they will have the ability to print their certificate. They may then contact us to schedule an appointment to discuss the BTW portion (which is an additional cost of $475). Great Lakes Driving Academy will issue the final certificate needed to sit for the State of Ohio’s drivers exam after they complete the eight hours of behind the wheel training . Feel free to call if you have any questions, we do understand it may be a little overwhelming. 8 hrs of BTW training are offered in (4) 2 hr drives. Students can be dropped off at the GLDA Office or can be picked up and dropped off anywhere within reason for the BTW training.​
